Gene & Lyndsey
Friends of friend’s wedding has to be done
Hi all, back again with another awesome wedding. Today is another church wedding in Earls Barton and reception in Wellingborough at Knuston Lodge Farm.
I have met Lyndsey and Gene before as they are mutual friends of my friends and I was recommended to them.
Now most church weddings all go in a similar fashion so I’m no going to bore you with anything that isn’t new, The church was done up very nicely and what made a change was the availability to have confetti, I love a good confetti shot as it adds so much value to the film but we are not always allowed to have them.
The heavens opened and the rain was hard and heavy, luckily it only lasted for about 20 mins while everyone was moving to the reception.
So over to Knuston Lodge Farm now, this is another of the up and coming wedding venues in Northamptonshire so we were excited to go as we have not been there before. WOW the venue is hidden away behind what I would assume is the farms old horse stables, so we walked through the archway and about 100 yards down a very red carpet is a HUGE marquee. This is the biggest one I have ever seen outside of a music festival and it is permanent as well.
Now the wedding breakfast was very different this time, it was actually a picnic platter on a slate tile. This is the only time we have come across this before and it was enjoyable even the massive piece of carrot cake (which I don’t really like in general).
During the speeches, well the heavens opened again and in a marquee this makes it very awkward as it gets very load very quickly, so we don’t really have any time to accommodate for this normally but we managed this time.
We were very lucky as well to have an amazing rainbow show just after the speeches when the couple went outside for a little walk and the rainbow against the dark grey looked pretty amazing.
At the end of the day the couple were very happy and the venues were spectacular. We would happily film there again if the chance arose.
Wishing Lyndsey and Gene a happy life together.
