Sara & Mark

Sara is an old friend of mine who while we are still friends on Facebook we have kind of lost touch with each other over the years with life, friends, education etc but occasionally we bump into each other in town and such.

Back to the story, when I heard she was getting married I was very happy for her and while mainly happy that she has found someone to be with for life I also wanted to let her know what I am now doing which is wedding films, now she was interested.

So we arranged everything and when I found out where she was getting married I got excited as the venue was Dodford Manor in Daventry. This is a new and upcoming venue within our area and it is already booking up quick.

Now this is the first time we have been here and IT IS AMAZING, it’s a one stop shop really, you can have the ceremony here and the reception afterwards. The venue has enough space and some amazing fields surrounding it to have photos and video done during the golden hour (just before sunset), so we had to use this opportunity to our advantage and follow the photographer out into the fields, now bearing in mind this is July and the sun doesn’t start to set until late and the golden hour does last longer than normal, this played to our advantage which was great.

So overall the venue offers a great atmosphere, great space and some of the better food we have had at a wedding. We do love this venue and hope to do more weddings here in the future.

I do hope Sara and Mark have a long and happy life together as they seemed very happy overall.
